Our clinical service area is enormously varied from ensuring wheelchairs ordered are delivered, training is given in wheelchair prescription and the assessment process is implemented.

Another area of clinical services is raising awareness about good wheelchair practice, in coordinating this whole service between manufacturer and centre.

We support training in physiotherapy, from consolidating the amputee, training materials to developing new materials with the expatriate team in orthotics therapy.

Developing a good network with relevant local organisations from hospitals and orthopaedic surgeons to CBR programmes is also an objective of our service.

On a more strategic level we look into supporting where the government is heading in developing rehabilitation services and lobbying for better facilities and training. We link with the school of physiotherapy to explore opportunities for supporting the profession and also in trying to gain accreditation for training Motivation has carried out

Meanwhile, Motivation’s technical support to the local partner organizations has been the most successful element in any of its projects.

‘Fit your building to your business and not your business to the building’ - This has been the guiding principle in developing Infrastructure for Programs that we initiate.

Our in-house training programs are carried out by qualified and experienced Professionals. Motivation is proud of developing a good number of training packages in Assistive devices like Wheelchairs, Prosthesis, Orthosis etc. Motivation is already working with key global players in the field of Assistive devices in getting there training programs accredited.

‘Appropriate Technology’ as defined by ISPO has served as a principal guide for us in selecting the suitable Technology. Local production of components is highly encouraged and where not possible the practice of sourcing from the most cost effective source is practiced. ‘Address the quantity without compromising the quality’ is our motto for service provision.
