Motivation recently began an economic empowerment programme for marginalised people, targeting people with disabilities in tsunami affected regions. The emphasis of the programme is on providing English language and computer skills training through existing organisations in the South, and on providing training and capital for people with disabilities who wish to set up their own small businesses. This year-long programme is funded by Oxfam Hong Kong – www.oxfam.org.hk
