UN Women’s Guild Donates to Wheelchair Fund :

A cheque for a sum of LKR 150,000 was donated by the United Nations Women’s Guild Services. Ms. Indrani, who is one of the executive members of the association, presented the cheque to Sharmini on the 25th of April 2007. The money was given towards beneficiaries in the Galle district. Indrani also pledged a further LKR 500,000 in the coming months.
